Draw curved paths

- Let's continue our look at paths in GIMP by tracing some curved shapes like the ones in this cloud in our exercise file. I'll zoom in on the cloud, take the paths tool, and since we don't want to be drawing too many straight lines, I'll make sure to deselect the polygonal option. And I'll draw my first curves starting down at the bottom left right where the curve meets the straight line. I'll click and drag to the left and, as I drag, I pull the control handle out of the anchor point. Also notice that an identical handle comes out of the opposite side of the point and the two handles move and change size in unison. The handles are used to define curves, so the farther out I stretch with this handle, the bigger the curve. A small handle will mean a small curve. The handle also controls the direction of the curve. Dragging down will make the curve start out in a downward direction. Dragging up will make the curve go up.
