Customize the GIMP interface
- [Instructor] The appearance of GIMP's user interface can be customized in many ways. Start by opening Preferences. Go to Interface, Theme to set an overall appearance for GIMP. Go to Icon Theme to choose an appearance for icons and a size. In Tool Box Preferences, make more room for the tool options by turning off the GIMP logo. As well as tools that you don't use very often. For precise cursors, go to Image Windows and choose Mouse Pointers, Pointer mode, Crosshair only. To choose the information displayed in the image title bar, choose Title and Status and then click on a different preset format or delete codes to remove unwanted information.
