Create a sticker effect
- [Instructor] To make a fun sticker effect in GIMP, go to the layers panel and click the layer you want to turn into a sticker. Right-click on the layer and choose alpha to selection. Expand the selection by choosing select, grow. Enter the number of pixels desired. More pixels will make a larger border around the content. Create a new layer, and move it under the current layer. Set the foreground color to a light gray, and fill the selection by choosing edit, fill with foreground color. Deselect. Add a small drop shadow by choosing filters, light and shadow, drop shadow. Set the X and Y values and the blur radius to a low number. Adjust the opacity of the shadow to your liking.
