Create a double exposure effect - GIMP Tutorial
From the course: GIMP Quick Tips
Create a double exposure effect
- [Instructor] To create a double exposure effect in GIMP, use one image to mask another. Start with the image that will be used as the mask. Choose Colors, Invert. Then Image, Mode, Grayscale. Select all and copy. In the other image, create a new layer filled with white. Move it to the bottom of the layers. Then right-click on the layer that will be masked. And choose Add Layer Mask. Click on the mask. Paste the inverted image. And anchor it to the mask. Adjust the colors of either the layer or the mast to change the blending of the images.
