- [Male Narrator] A custom transition in a MoGraph piece or…other footage really can signal a poignant moment.…Now typically, we want just cuts in our editing,…maybe a J-cut with an audio or something similar.…We want to keep our editing flash down…so that our story really shines through.…Sometimes though, we need one signature transition…that really says this is a special moment.…I'm going to use it between my players and that last shot of…my ball rolling in,…'cause I want to signify that this build-up is coming to a…climax of just that ball,…'cause it's all about the game.…
So what I'll do is a custom transition after that merge…using another node called a background.…I've opened up my flow, and I'm here at frame 174,…I'll pick my merge 3 and press 1 to show it, and we've got…our players in the air, particles all around, ball moving,…and so on, and we're ready to get our transition in.…Now my thought is I'd like this transition to be fairly…quick, I want it to blow out to white and come back to that…next shot, so I'm going to make this transition go from…
