What you should know
- [Instructor] The parametric solid modeling and assembly tools of Fusion 360 have their roots in workflows that have been established for the past 20 years. This course will not be a deep dive into Fusion 360 or focused on the fundamentals of sketching or parametric solid modeling. Instead we will be focused on easy-to-use practices that will make you more productive when creating designs. I highly recommend that you review other courses on the fundamentals of parametric sketching, constraints, and solid modeling, if you're not already familiar with these concepts. We will also touch on accessing simulation, sometimes referred to as finite element analysis, generative design, and computer-aided manufacturing tools in this course. If you're familiar with these concepts, I'm sure that you will find the Fusion 360 approach to them similar enough to quickly pick up but also unique in their approach.
