Join Taylor Hokanson for an in-depth discussion in this video Use the T-Spline box, part of Learn Fusion 360: The Basics.
- [Voiceover] So now that we have our canvases in place,…the next thing we want to do is move over…to the sculpt warp space.…Kind of like Sketch, you're not going to find Sculpt…listed right here, you instead have to start creating…an object that requires the sculpt workspace,…so I click here on create form.…And these are Tsplan bodies,…these are used for organic shapes.…Unlike solid modeling, which is more about mechanical…precision, Tsplan lines are more about working…almost like with clay, so it will be pushing those edges…around back and forth and eyeballing until…we get something that looks right instead of something…that we know to be mathematically correct.…
Okay, so I'm going to create a box,…and because my canvases are laid down with (0,0)…as the origin at the center, that's all good,…I can click here on the X,Y plane,…and then zero as the center of my box.…And then I'll just eyeball out here to the corner,…if I want I can turn off snapping the grid to make…that eyeballing a little easier and more precise.…
This course is an overview of the interface and the modeling, sculpting, and rendering workflows in Fusion 360. Taylor Hokanson shows how to import reference images, use the sketching tools, extrude 3D shapes, combine components into assemblies, and render animations that show your designs in action. Plus, learn how to sculpt organic shapes by editing T-Spline forms. This course has everything you need to use Fusion 360 to translate your ideas into elegant CAD drawings and fabrication-ready designs.
