Join Taylor Hokanson for an in-depth discussion in this video Troubleshooting, part of Learn Fusion 360: The Basics.
- [Voiceover] So our jansen linkage is almost perfect,…but it still seems to be behaving a little funny,…and if I turn around this drive shaft here…I can see that this structure is still completely rigid…and I know that's not supposed to be the case.…So with a little detective work,…we can figure out that I actually…attached this aspect of the strut to the pin…that's permanently locked in place, that's grounded.…So I wanna delete this part of the rotation…and then set this joint back up over here.…So this requires a little bit of delicate surgery.…
There's two joints sitting in the same spot,…so I'll know this one's correct 'cause it's pointing out…in a co-linear fashion with this strut.…So I'll hit Delete, and now I'm able just to…grab this object and kind of move it around,…so I'll give myself some breathing room.…And rotate again.…J for joint, go ahead and capture the position,…it'll take care of itself later,…and I want the bottom of the circle…to be aligned right here.…Hit OK, we don't get any warnings for conflicts,…
This course is an overview of the interface and the modeling, sculpting, and rendering workflows in Fusion 360. Taylor Hokanson shows how to import reference images, use the sketching tools, extrude 3D shapes, combine components into assemblies, and render animations that show your designs in action. Plus, learn how to sculpt organic shapes by editing T-Spline forms. This course has everything you need to use Fusion 360 to translate your ideas into elegant CAD drawings and fabrication-ready designs.
