Small details
- [Instructor] Small details can be challenging to 3D print. Let's explore setting variable to add additional cooling time. Got up to the File folder. Then choose Optimize4 and click Open. Scroll down until you can find Cooling and then click on the gear. And let's add a minimum layer time variable and choose Close. So the default five seconds here. Let's double it, increase it to 10. This can be really helpful if you're having trouble printing small parts or overhanging geometry. Adding wait time to each layer can help a lot. Essentially if it hasn't taken 10 seconds to create the layer, the printer will wait for any remaining time before it continues, and that gives the plastic just a little bit more time to cool. This is just a start to many different settings that you can use to alter your 3D printed parts.
