Setting preferences - Fusion 360 Tutorial
From the course: Cert Prep: Autodesk Fusion 360 User
Setting preferences
- [Instructor] Fusion 360's interface can be further customized to suit your needs by editing the toolbar and modifying the application preferences. The toolbar of Fusion 360 will display all the various tools categorized by creating sketches or creating features and of course, changing workspaces will give you different toolbars with different options. When the toolbar was designed, assumptions were made on what tools you might use most frequently, however, you can modify what tools are presented in the toolbar by default. By expanding a toolbar, in this case going under a rectangle, we can see that there's a keyboard shortcut and an X next to the two-point rectangle. This will allow me to remove it from the toolbar. Now an upward arrow appears and if I prefer a three-point rectangle, I can always add that to the toolbar instead. We can also add both of them if we like and to see another way to modify the toolbar, we can grab one that we don't like and simply drag it off into space…
