- [Instructor] We have the basic bones of our CNC file, and the next thing that we want to do is add our first toolpath, and of course, as always, we're going to start with our roughing tool path, and I'm going to use parallel. All right, so it's already selected a tool for me. If it hasn't done that for you, you can always go to select, and I've already set out a set of tools that you can use, and we're going to actually select our half an inch ball and mill here. There we go. All right, and after choosing that tool, it's brought in all of our appropriate feeds and speeds, so I'm not going to change anything here. Next, let's go to geometry, and it's asking us for a machining boundary, and I'm going to set this to selection. And in the file, I actually already have an outline that I want to select.
