Reverse engineering: Example

- [Instructor] We're going to do an entire reverse engineering now using a 3D scan. So I want you to go to Insert and Insert Mesh and choose the nine dash seven sample file desk bridge. This file comes in rotated slightly improperly as you can see if we click on top up here, so I want you to rotate this negative 90 degrees like that and click OK. As you can see, this is a desk that we used in a previous video. The desk comes up roughly equal to each other in height but not in terms of how far it is from the wall and we're going to create a little connector that goes in between these two desks. Go down to Create, to Create a Mesh Section Sketch and what I want you to do is just click on the top plane up here. It doesn't really matter where you click because we're going to rotate this 90 degrees like that and you can see that we get a good line for where the ends of the table, the edges slope down on both sides so I'm going…
