- [Instructor] Now, if you're planning to follow along with me for this entire series, it's probably a good idea to set our preferences so they look identical so that, that way, when you're fiddling around trying to do exactly what I'm doing, things don't look any different, right? So to access our preferences, I'll head up here to my login name and go down to preferences. And there's a ton of preferences to look at but I'm going to have you focus on just a couple. So first of all, let's take a look here under general, which should come up by itself. I'm working, of course, in English. There's a lot of things in here we don't necessarily need to touch, although here's one that I find really confusing. In a lot of installations of Fusion, Y is by default the up axis. And I don't know about you but in every program I've ever worked with, Z up, where X and Y form sort of the table plane. Makes a lot more sense to me,…
