Join Taylor Hokanson for an in-depth discussion in this video Offline mode, part of Learning Autodesk Fusion 360.
- So here I've opened Fusion for the first time,…at least in the context of this video tutorial…and as it happens, you can see a warning up here at the top:…Fusion is being updated on Saturday, May 7, 2016…from four to six, or rather four…and then to six the following day.…But in the meantime you can work in offline mode.…So I could follow this link for more information…but I'll just tell you what it's all about.…If I click up here on the upper right under my account name,…I'll have the opportunity to work offline…and if I do that, I'll get this little icon right here…that shows a red slash through the cloud.…
So, if I do that, Fusion still works just like it did before…but there are a couple of features…I don't have access to,…specifically all of these great tools that allow me…to keep my version, data and collaboration…and so forth up on the web.…So if I open this up,…I'll see there are a couple of versions of projects…that I've worked on that have been saved locally,…but by far I have the most functionality…
This course is an overview of the interface and the modeling, sculpting, and rendering workflows in Fusion 360. Taylor Hokanson shows how to import reference images, use the sketching tools, extrude 3D shapes, combine components into assemblies, and render animations that show your designs in action. Plus, learn how to sculpt organic shapes by editing T-Spline forms. This course has everything you need to use Fusion 360 to translate your ideas into elegant CAD drawings and fabrication-ready designs.
