- [Voiceover] So another thing we have to establish…before we really get down to actually designing…is how to look around our design,…and in order to do that, we need some kind of…object out here on the stage,…so I'm gonna click on this box.…Then click on the XY axis…and quickly define its footprint and its height.…Don't worry, we'll talk more about…how to get this specifically done later.…So now that we've got something to look at,…let's talk about the different ways…we can navigate our view around it.…The first is the mouse, and note that…the left and right mouse buttons…are used for other behaviors.…
So really it's all the wheel…when it comes to navigating our view.…If I push the wheel forward and back…assuming my preferences are set that way,…I can change how I zoom.…If I hold down that third mouse button, the wheel,…then I can pan my view back and forth.…Then finally if I want to orbit,…I hold down Shift and then hold down…the scroll wheel as well,…and I can orbit here around that view.…That's all the mouse-based commands.…
