- [Instructor] Photogrammetry has lots of different levels at which you can join into the 3D creation fun. Photogrammetry can absolutely be done with photos from your cell phone, or you can start to uplevel your game with some hardware and possibly some software. In the previous video, I said that it was really important to get your photos correct in order to get the best output from photogrammetry. That's very true. There is a product called OpenScan, and you can go search on YouTube for the OpenScan project. And what this is is a set of hardware that helps you get the best photos every time. This is a little controller with a motorized stand that will spin and tilt an object and then connect that to a digital camera or even a Raspberry Pi camera to help get the photos that you need with matte backgrounds and generally start to control the environment in which you take your pictures.
