Inserting McMaster-Carr components
- [Tutor] Hi everyone and welcome to another 'Fusion 360 Tips, Tricks and Techniques'. What we have here is a power supply that needs to have a screw to Fasten this plate to its extruded Aluminum casing. AutoDesk has partnered with a McMaster-Carr which is a American supplier of hardware tools, raw materials, and that maintenance equipment, industrial materials. In addition, McMaster-Carr has 3D files representing the products that can be downloaded. Let's head back to Fusion 360 heading over to insert and notice here we have insert McMaster-Carr component. Let's check if they have a 3D file for screws, let me expand this. I prefer my screw to be metric with a thread size of amp. 2.5. Let's have the length at a five millimeters and the drive a style to be Phillips. Notice the options given to us. Let's head over to this part number and notice this has, a hyper link. I'm going to select this take note of this…
