Exporting to Meshmixer for 3D printing

- [Instructor] Solid modeling is great because it allows you to prototype very efficiently. Prototyping efficiently usually involves some sort of computerized fabrication technology like 3D printing. I want to give a little bit of advice when you create models, how to get them out of Fusion 360 for 3D printing, and how to be more successful with 3D printing when you do so. I talked about this in a previous video, but any body that you have inside of here, this does not have to be a top level thing at all, you can right click and say Save As STL, usually choose High Refinement, and click OK, and save that out as an STL file. You can open up those STL files in something like Autodesk Meshmixer. If you didn't see the previous videos, this may look like a solid model, but when I press the W key to go into wireframe, you see that this is now a whole conglomeration of three-sided polygons, also called triangles. This is very nice, this is 3D printable, but I did want to warn you about some…
