Evaluating curve tolerances

- [Instructor] One thing I want to discuss about the mesh sections is what's called the curve tolerance. When you use one of the models I used in the previous video, I'm going to select one of these sketches like sketch four and double click on it. I'm going to slice this so that we're only looking at the half of the model and in fact, I can just turn off the mesh body altogether. For anytime that you use the fit curves to mesh section, you will have a deviation number. So when you click on a line and you click on one part, and another part, you can see that when the line matches really nicely on the right of the screen, you'll see a deviation of .175 millimeters, which is pretty good. If we go over here, the deviation starts to grow because you can see that the line is deviating from the mesh section or if we go away up here, you can see a huge deviation because that is the amount of change from this point to this point.…
