Join Taylor Hokanson for an in-depth discussion in this video Edit the side, part of Learn Fusion 360: The Basics.
- [Voiceover] Okay, so now that we have a good top view…on our model, we should come in and do the side.…I won't show you the whole thing, but we'll get you started.…And, I'm going to switch my view,…make sure it's in Orthographic, just double check on that.…Now, getting a little pinch like this…at the front is actually a little bit more complicated…than some of the stuff we've been working on,…because we don't want to leave behind a bunch…of unsightly ripples.…So, the first thing I'll do is just to grab a portion…of the front here,…and then make sure that it's entirely selected,…come back to the front, edit form,…and then I'll start to pull that guy up,…noting that every time I make these changes…there's a cascading affect around other parts of the design.…
Now, I'll come in here and grab the top.…Front view, modify,…this should start to sound awful familiar by now.…We can also start to mess around a little bit…with the angle, but I don't think it's quite time…for that yet.…And, you can see, in some cases you'll grab a couple…
This course is an overview of the interface and the modeling, sculpting, and rendering workflows in Fusion 360. Taylor Hokanson shows how to import reference images, use the sketching tools, extrude 3D shapes, combine components into assemblies, and render animations that show your designs in action. Plus, learn how to sculpt organic shapes by editing T-Spline forms. This course has everything you need to use Fusion 360 to translate your ideas into elegant CAD drawings and fabrication-ready designs.
