Join Vladimir Mariano for an in-depth discussion in this video Cutouts for LEDs and ports, part of Fusion 360: 3D Printed Product Enclosure.
[Narrator] Now that we've modeled…the top portion of our enclosure and shelled it…we'll need to make some cutouts here…so that certain elements from our circuit playground board…can be able to poke through.…So let's bring in all our components…so we can see everything and we'll get rid of top…and just show the bottom for now.…The first thing I want to do actually is,…I need to rotate this circuit playground…because I want this battery plug to be on this side…and the USB plug to be on the opposite side.…
So I'm going to right click on our circuit playground here…above our or right below our browser.…Go to move and let's go to a top view.…I'm going to rotate this and just enter 180 degrees there.…And click okay and that'll go ahead and rotate it.…Now I want to create a sketch on the top portion…of the enclosure, so I'll go to create sketch,…select that top portion, we'll click capture position,…and we'll remove the top now so you can actually see…the components under it and we'll hit C for circle.…
And I'm going to start at the origin…
