- [Instructor] Due to the intense computational nature of generative design all the calculations are done on the cloud. To access cloud processing, Autodesk uses Cloud Credits. These Cloud Credits can be purchased in 100 packs. A single generative design study will consume 25 credits. So if you're considering using multiple materials, you'll want to make sure you run them all in the same study. Presently the number of outcomes that are produced doesn't affect the number of Cloud Credits used. If you like a result and you want to convert it to a mesh or a solid model, that will consume 100 Cloud Credits. Some of the other simulation processes and other rendering processes in Fusion 360 also use Cloud Credits. Over time experience will help you to prepare your model so that you can preserve Cloud Credits while still allowing the system to show you all the new possibilities.
