Comparing to the original scan

- After you're completely done with your reverse engineering it's good to go back and check to make sure that what you reverse engineered is an accurate representation of the 3D scan that you had. Here I'm using the 11-1 sample file and this is a scan of a seat from a car, a Subaru Ascent. I've done a little bit of a reverse engineering on the bottom here as you can see. This is the result of some mesh sections and some lofts and a little bit of a thickening. So we have the seat cushion here, maybe for some sort of custom cushion that you would be creating and I saved these bodies out, both the mesh body as the seat and the solid model, right here, as the 3D model that we'll be comparing to. Now how to compare to make sure that this is a proper model? Well we can kind of visually see here, if we zoom in, I'm going to make this unselectable so that I can show you more properly.
