Combining shapes
- [Instructor] As you become more fluent in solid modeling, you'll figure out how to combine shapes with other shapes to make other shapes. This is the 4-4 Sample File here and we have an entire timeline here for a sink that we'll be making but I'm going just roll back. What this is starts off with a block of material. And you can follow along on the timeline here and see what I did and then created a sketch. So the sketch right here, this is sketch on the top of just a rectangle, right? Because we want to make some place for the water to go. I sketched on the top and then followed by an extrusion down. So if I double-click on this, this extrusion, because it's going down inside the fusion automatically, thinks that this is a cut operation and creates the shape on the inside. I can actually turn off that sketch. All right, so what did I do next? Well we created a drain hole. So this is a Cylinder command under create and Cylinder.
