Join Taylor Hokanson for an in-depth discussion in this video Combine with geometric elements, part of Learn Fusion 360: The Basics.
- [Voiceover] Alright, so all our hard work has paid off,…and we can take a look around at our finished…t-spline model.…I got it pretty close to the images.…It's not exactly the same.…If I show you the canvas, you can see that I cut…a couple corners.…But it's perfectly featured for our purposes.…Now hiding the canvas also helps in that sometimes I can…pick out some flaws that I couldn't see before.…And here, for example, you can see that we carried…the crease a little bit too far into the model.…But fortunately, it's an easy fix.…I just click on that subdivision and delete it.…
The computer makes a nice, smooth surface in its place.…I do the same thing here to the bottom,…and we're done.…So when we're done editing our t-splines, we just need…to click on Finish Form, just the same way we might finish…a sketch.…And you can see that the model changes.…We stop getting access to all those subdivisions.…And now we're back in the model workspace.…And the cool thing about that is now we can use all of…the model workspace tools to have an effect…
This course is an overview of the interface and the modeling, sculpting, and rendering workflows in Fusion 360. Taylor Hokanson shows how to import reference images, use the sketching tools, extrude 3D shapes, combine components into assemblies, and render animations that show your designs in action. Plus, learn how to sculpt organic shapes by editing T-Spline forms. This course has everything you need to use Fusion 360 to translate your ideas into elegant CAD drawings and fabrication-ready designs.
