CAM basics in Cura

- [Instructor] Cura is open source software that helps you prep a file for 3D printing on a desktop FTM printer, and it's one of the cam options we'll cover in this course. Cura is frequently updated, so don't worry if your interface doesn't look exactly like mine. The features are likely in a similar place, and the overarching concepts still apply. We'll go through how to load a file, change settings, and visualize the print before exporting for 3D printing. Okay, let's start by loading a file. Go up to the file folder icon and click on it, and then navigate to the Exercise Files folder. I'll choose Twisted Solid, that STL, and choose Open. Before we get started, let's do a quick navigation lesson. In Cura we use our left mouse click to select objects, choose menu items, and then we use a right click, a quick right click to bring up a options menu where you have more options for transforming and altering your model.
