Aligning for RE, part 2

- [Instructor] In the previous video, I talked about how to align objects with absolutely flat faces. But a lot of objects in the real world have curves, and generally aren't flat in any noticeable way like this key fog, it's generally flat. But if you look at it, there are curves everywhere on this. And pretty much no area is truly flat. Maybe up here, but for illustration sake, let's say everything around here is curved. So let's learn how to align any object whether it has flat faces or not. You can use this with any 3d model and it's a little bit more of an advanced technique. Go up to mesh mix up here and select the plane. So this is the plane right here, drag it out, not on to your object, but just anywhere else out into empty space and then click except. We now have two objects. As you click on either one, it essentially turns it on, we want to make sure that the plane is turned on, we see that it's not on the…
