- [Instructor] In this course we're going to learn how to design real-world parts using Fusion 360. This is the first of a two-part series that culminates in the design of an enclosure for a battery-operated, rechargeable LED lamp that can be used to illuminate numerous objects such as lanterns, vases, model houses, and honestly, anything you can think of in order to make it stand out. The ultimate goal is to design an enclosure for a product, but in order to model an enclosure, we first have to design all the parts that will be housed in the enclosure.
I'll use this opportunity to teach some valuable design concepts and techniques when modeling with Fusion 360. After completing this course, you'll want to check out the follow-up course, Fusion 360 Designing Product Enclosures, where you will learn how to design an enclosure around our product.
