- [Instructor] The great thing about reverse engineering is that you can use and reuse geometry no matter where you find it. This is an example of a file that I got off of Thingiverse. This is the Community Face Mask Frame by 2ROBOTGUY. There's actually licensed here under the creative commons license. I downloaded this mask and put it in front of the face of a child, a 3D scan. I raced the back of this mask. And now I'm going to show you a very quick example on how you can work with both organic shapes as well as more mechanical ones. I've highlighted the area on the face for the child and pressed the B key to smooth it. You don't have to follow with me or anything. We'll go into Meshmixer more later in the class. I just wanted to show you that a couple of little commands like this allow you now to get the geometry of an organic shape, like somebody's face.
