- [Instructor] Let's explore the workflow for 3D printing with MakerBot Print. For all intents and purposes, our design is ready for 3D printing. But for the first print, sometimes a cut-down version is best. Limit the print time, so you only print the important stuff. Let's use sketches and parameters to reduce the size of our test print. So first, we'll go in to edit the Box sketch. We'll double-click on that icon. And then I'm going to shorten this side to 15 millimeters and stop the sketch. You'll see how those changes propagate through the 3D geometry. Then the other way we can change parameters is by going to Modify, Change Parameters, and I'm going to change the box height to 20 millimeters and choose OK. And in this case, I also want to change the line width as well. I originally built this design thinking I would print it on a printer that uses a .35 millimeter line width, but MakerBot Prints uses a line width that is actually closer to .4.
