- [Instructor] Let's explore the workflow for 3D printing with Cura. For all intents and purposes, our design is ready for 3D printing, but for the first print, sometimes a cut down version is best. Limit the print time, so you print only the important stuff. Okay, so first let's go into our box sketch. Click on the sketch icon here for box. And we can change these dimensions by double-clicking on them. I'm going to change this to 15, and then I can click Stop Sketch. You can see how that parameter change is propagated through the model. Then the other way we can change parameters, is by going up to Modify, and choosing Change Parameters, and this time I'll change the box height to 20 millimeters... and choose OK. Great. So now we've cut out all the bulk of this design, just so we can test the function of the hinge in our first print. So go up to the toolbar, and choose Make.
