- A useful command is the Instant Slideshow command,…which can quickly go through and retime several elements…within your slideshow.…Let's leave our current slideshow alone…but go back to one of the versions…we were working with earlier.…I'll choose File, Open,…and I'm going to open up Version_A_3,…that last one we worked with,…and choose Open.…Now we've got everything here in the timeline.…Remember it's pretty simple to add music,…so going over to our Audio tab,…I'll grab one of my music tracks, a shorter one,…and drop it into my timeline.…
The audio is longer than my clip.…Select everything in your timeline,…click in an empty area and press command a,…and then choose Slideshow, Instant Slideshow.…This brings up a dialog box that lets you…walk through a simple wizard to adjust things.…For example, I can shorten the length of the music…to match my current slides,…or match the slide duration to the music duration.…
So it says by choosing this option,…the 27 slides are going to be adjusted…to match the duration of the music.…
