Modify configurations using update sets

- [Instructor] An update set is a group of configuration changes that can be bundled and moved from one instance to another. This feature allows administrators to group a series of changes into a named set, and then move them as a unit to other systems for testing and deployment. Update sets are like a recording that track customizations to application tables, fields, reports, workflows, forms, catalogs, and platform features. It then stores this information in a series of playback-ready items captured in XML. In general, update sets capture configuration information, but not task or process data. For example, update sets track service catalog item definitions and related configuration data like variable and variable choices. Update sets will not track users, groups, catalog order requests, catalog items, and task data. The ServiceNow system is always in recording mode and tracking changes to an update set. You can see…
