If you're working on a picture in another mobile photo app, such as Snapseed, you can use the Open In command to send a version of that image to Flickr. This allows you to use any type of editing program, yet still manage your images online. Learn more about working with images this way in this video.
- [Voiceover] I like using other…image editing apps on my smart devices.…Snapseed is one of my favorites…and it's available both on iOS and android…so it's very handy that way also.…I'm going to open it right now by tapping on it…and here's an image I've been playing with.…I like the shot.…I took it through the plane window…when flying over California, coming home from a trip…and I want it in my Flickr account.…I want it backed up and I want to be able to share it…so I'm gonna to use the open in command…and I'm gonna tap on the 3 dots in the upper…right hand corner and I'm gonna to tap on open in.…
Now some apps will offer Flickr as part of open in…some apps won't, so you just have to check…your favorite apps to see what they provide.…This one does, so I'm gonna tap on Flickr.…I'm gonna give it a name.…I'm gonna leave it as private so it'll go…into my camera roll but not into my photo stream…but I could change that if I wanted…by tapping there and changing it to public…or one of the other options that I have…but I'm going to leave it as private…
