Flickr has a strong social and community aspect to it. You can connect with other photographers on many different levels. The platform is also designed so that those who have shared interests can gather together in groups. Learn more about how to invite someone to a group in this video.
- [Voiceover] I'm gonna show you inviting someone…to a group, with the caveat that this…doesn't work on all my devices.…I've tested it on a iPhone 6S,…on a iPhone 5S running latest version of iOS,…and on my Android tablet, and for some reason…it only shows up on my iPhone 6S.…I'm gonna show you this scenario where it does show up…so you know where to look,…with no promises that it'll be there.…
I don't know where this inconsistency is generated from.…Hopefully it will be consistent by the time you view this,…and there won't be any problems,…but if there isn't, know it's not you,…there's inconsistencies for me too.…So here's what I want to do.…I'm on my Flickr account right now on the iPhone 6S,…and I'm looking at this cool shot by Lynda Story…that we've talked about,…and I would love to invite Lynda to a group.…
The way that it works on this device here…is I'm gonna go ahead and tap the share button,…and then down here you see we have…invite to group right here,…and that's the part that didn't show up everywhere.…
