Flask's development environment
- [Instructor] Up to this point and time, we've been running our Flask app in a production environment. The big limitation of this is that any time we make a change to our code we have to manually go into our Terminal, hit Control + C, stop the server and then run it again. Now if we were to run our Flask app in a development environment, it would automatically notice any time changes are made to the code, and restart our server for us. So, let's go ahead and learn how to do that. So we're going to do our Control + C, to stop the server from running. Then we're going to do an export, just like we did with the Flask name except this time, we're going to say, all caps, FLASK_ENV. Which is short for environment. And then we'll just type out, lowercase development, we'll go ahead and hit Enter. And now that we've set that, we'll go ahead and run Flask run, one more time.
