- Let's look at what happens when you import in…an animated GIF in an older version of Flash.…So, I'm gonna go to File, Import, Import to Library,…and then choose this animated GIF called flyBlue.…You can see that the imported GIF assets…are placed in the Library's root folder…with names that aren't very helpful.…For instance, Bitmap 588, Bitmap 589, and Bitmap 590.…This behavior has been improved…in the latest release of Flash.…So here, I'll import in the same animated GIF…by going to File, then Import, then Import to Library,…and choosing that same flyBlue animated GIF.…
You can see that a folder with the GIF file name…is created in the library.…All the associated bitmaps are organized within it.…Each has a meaningful name based on…the name of the original GIF,…and a properly sequenced number.…
