Working with multiple libraries

If you spend a lot of time working in flash, chances are you'll end up sharing assets between FLA files at some point. Now you always could just go over to one FLA file and select a movie clip, copy it, bring it back over to your original FLA, and use the Paste command. That's one way to share between two FLAs. I'm going to undo that change here. Another way is to have the FLA open is that you want to grab from, but just use one library to do so. So I'll go to the library in my main FLA and where I see the drop down menu, I can click that and I can choose External_Library.FLA, and now here I can grab an asset from that library. Click and drag it onto the stage, and then go back to my main library. Simple! I'll undo that again. Let's take a look at what else we could do. One thing is we can pin our current library, so when I tab over to the external library file, I'll see the library from that file. So I can go over to all my open FLAs and with a pinned library I can look at one…
