Using motion tweens for parallax scrolling

One of the types of animations that's really easy to create with a motion tween is Parallax Scrolling. Using Parallax Scrolling, you can move different layers of animation to create a 3D effect. Let's take a look at how to do that. On the Stage, I am going to lock every layer except for the hills_front layer. I am going to animate this layer first. To create the motion tween, I am going to right click one of the frames in the hills_front layer in the Timeline and choose Create Motion Tween. If you already have the timeline extended, Flash will create a motion tween spending the entire duration of your timeline. So I am going to move the playhead to the last frame and then move the hills to the right. I am going to hold the Shift key, so that the hills don't move up or down as I am moving them. Now, I can preview this animation and see the hills moving. Now I will lock that layer and unlock hills_back. For the back hills, I am going to move them as well, but I am going to move them…
