Using the Color Swatches panel

The Swatches panel allows you to save colors, and reuse them in your applications. If you don't see the Swatches panel on your screen, you can find it at Window > Swatches. So let's say you have created a color that you like. For example, I have this color for my avocado shape on the Stage. So I'll select this shape and I'll open the Swatches panel. When you hover over the bottom area of the Swatches panel, your cursor will turn into a paint bucket. That means you're about to save whatever is your current foreground color. Since mine is the color of the avocado shape on the Stage, I want to save that color.

So I'll click to save the color. You'll see that it appears on the left at the very bottom row in the Swatches panel. It's next to the Gradient. So now if I want to apply this color to another shape, I can do that. So let's say I created a blue rectangle. Now, I want to go and apply that same shape as the avocado to it through the Swatches panel. I ...
