Updating the library with changed graphics

Let's say you imported a bitmap image into Flash and then you made a change to that image outside of Flash and you wanted that update reflected in Flash. Let's take a look at how that works. In the Library, I have this file called flower.jpg and we see the flower on the Stage. If I go over to Photoshop, and let's say I made this image black and white. So I can go to Image > Adjustments > Black & White. I'm just going to use the default settings. Then I'll save the file.

Note that I'm saving over the original file. So, if you're going to do this, just make sure you save a copy of the original somewhere else. So I'll save the file. I'm not worried about the settings for this example, so I'm just going to click OK to accept the default settings. Then I'll tab back over to Flash.
