Muting sounds

Streaming sounds play along with the playhead whenever you move it, which makes it easier to sync an animation with the sound. However, this can get annoying if you're done with that part of your animation and you frequently need to jump around the timeline. Let's take a look at an example. So on the stage, I have an animation of a kid, and you'll see that if you double-click the movie clip. If I scrub the playhead, you'll hear the jumping sound while the jump animation goes. (Boop beep boop) And you can imagine that they would get annoying pretty quick if you constantly have to move the playhead around. But it does help that I'm using a streaming sound because I can use it to coordinate my animation. So what if you just wanted to disable that feature after you used it to create your animation, but you still wanted to hear it when you tested it in the Flash Player? Here's an easy fix. All you do is go to Control > Mute Sounds. Now with that option checked, I no longer hear the sound…
