Using audio is a great way to help bring your projects to life.…So let's look at how to integrate sound into Flash.…I'm going to open my fastCar.fla file from before.…I'm going to use three different sounds in this project.…One is a background sound when the movie starts; one when the Stop button is…pressed; and the third when the Go button is pressed.…Bringing sounds into Flash is a delightfully easy, one-step process.…You simply import sounds directly into the library.…Let's try it by going to the File menu and choosing Import, then Import to Library.…
In the start folder an Exercise Files for this movie, you'll find fastStart.wav.…Flash can import audio in MP3, WAV, AU, AIFF and some other formats as well.…Once you've imported your sound, open your Library panel and you'll see it there.…Click once on fastStart.wav and you'll see a little picture of the waveform…appear at the top of the library.…You can click the tiny Play button at upper right of the Preview panel to hear the sound.…So we've got one out of three sounds ready to go.…
