Adding sound to a button

In this movie we'll look at adding sound to buttons. I've actually added sound to four out of five of the buttons on the Stage, so we can test the application and see what it sounds like. So I'll rollover the trees on the left and all over the other buildings and you'll hear the sound effects to the buttons. (Beeping) So as I rollover the buttons the Over state plays a sound effect. Let's add the sound effect to the final button. I'm going to double-click the buildings on the left to enter the Timeline.

I'll create a new layer, call it sound, I'll add a blank keyframe to the Over frame by pressing F7 on the keyboard, and then all I'm going to do is click and drag the Flash Beep sound from the Library onto the Stage. That's all there is to it. So I'll test the movie again. Roll over the buildings. (Beeping) And there's the sound effect.
