(funky opening jingle) - Hi, I'm Todd Perkins, just your average Adobe Certified instructor who spends a lot of my time teaching people how to use Adobe's web development software. When I'm not doing that, I'm playing video games with my lovely wife Jessica, but that's a whole other title. So here we are, just the three of us, you, me, and Flash CS4 new features. I spent a lot of hours making sure that this title will bring you right up to date with the latest and pretty darn cool functions of Flash technology with all the new features in the CS4 version.
If you're ready, I'm ready to show you how to be a master flasher, and I mean that in the nicest of ways. When you get into this bunch of movies you'll be amazed at what Flash can do now. Check this out, the Bones toolset lets you create totally complex animations using bones, kind of like you do in 3D software. It gets better, you can access these bones at runtime using Action script, plus the functionality for these interactions is built in so you don't have to have years of experience to make this happen.
I know you're pretty smart, but I'll just remind you that if you wanna study my movies on the Flash CS4 new features again and again, lynda.com let's you start and stop the movies as well as giving you access to the title at any time of day or night. That's because we know that once you get started, you won't be able to sleep until you've mastered it all. And if you're interested in starting off with a movie in the middle of the title, go ahead. You can watch the whole course in order, or jump to the topics you want to see first, so now let's get started with Flash CS4 new Features.
