- [Instructor] To understand commercial real estate it might be easier to note some differences between commercial and residential real estate. So, commercial is any land or buildings that's intended to generate a profit, right? Now, how is that different from residential? Residential is any single-family home or multiunit residential up to four residences. So, any apartment that is five units or more would be considered commercial. In commercial there are various asset types that we're going to discuss, and there's also various classes of real estate. Now, in residential primary investment deal types we're talking about are: flipping or Inc, a rental income properties, you know, less common are the lease options and wholesaling that people do. Now, for commercial they tend to be much larger deal sizes, and can be anywhere from $5 million all the way up to, you know, a billion dollars plus. In residential most of the deals…
