- [Instructor] Alright, welcome back. In this example, we are going to look at the economy hotel. Specifically, we're going to look at a subsegment called the extended stay. Now, for those of you who aren't familiar, the extended stay subcategory, and there's actually a brand in America called Extended Stay America, these are economy hotels that generally are located in non-core locations. So they are further away from the downtown, central areas. So if you're thinking about a major metro area and thinking about the downtown, these will tend to be located at least 30, maybe even 60, minutes away from these core areas. They do offer longer stay options for folks that are staying for many weeks or even several months rather than just a few days, so they will offer price-by-week type of pricing often for their guests. Now, these tend to have fewer services 'cause they are cost conscious. They sometimes will not have daily cleaning, or they will offer the option to not have daily cleaning…
