- [Jeff] Welcome to Final Cut Pro X Weekly, my name's Jeff Greenberg, Nick's not here. - [Nick] I'm not here this week. - [Jeff] I'm going to just go ahead here and talk about the short guide to mastering some of the nuances of Final Cut X Speed Effects. I want to take a look at High Frame Rate, that's where you intentionally shoot at a higher frame rate than your timeline. We're going to talk about remapping a clip so we can drag to get a given speed. We're going to look at the Speed dialog box and how to tell things not to ripple. We're also going to look at the Range Select in two different ways to change part of a clip, and we're going to also see how to use Instant Replay, and at the end, I'm going to show you that Optical Flow to get the cleanest slow motion when you didn't shoot high frame rate, and some of the limitations of it.
