- Way back in the day, Walt Disney and his team of animators created a set of rules for the fictitious characters and worlds they created in order to make them feel more genuine and real to the audience. These same rules are still being followed in motion graphics today. Let's take a look at how to make things move and have that organic feeling that sells it to our audience. It's called the 12 principles of animation. And while I won't go through all of these, because they are covered in the course, I just wanted to list them for you. There is a ton of information online about these 12 principles, and you can actually see some motion graphic videos done by various art departments showing you the concepts of each of these principles.
