- [Nick] Welcome to Final Cut Pro 10 Weekly. I'm Nick, and Jeff is just not here this week. We're going to talk about vertical video in FCP 10, and the future of it just not being horizontal. Couple things we're going to cover are why shoot vertical video in the first place. We'll look at some vertical video tips for filming vertical specifically in that format. Then, we're going to look at what happens when we bring vertical video into Final Cut Pro 10, and how we can go about creating a vertical video project, and dealing with our clips to get them to the right perspective. Last but not least, we'll take a look at exporting vertical video. So when it comes to shooting vertical video, couple things we want to keep in mind is that a lot of times when we're watching video we're consuming it on mobile devices, so it's just natural to have that vertical perspective.
